This is a Bloc_loc Ruler, which is great for squaring up your blocks. The channel built into the ruler allows the seam to sit in there and thus the ruler lay flat so you can get a clean cut.
This set of 3 comes with a 2.5" square, a 4.5" square and a 6.5" square.
The ruler is made out of 1/8" clear acrylic.
